Overview
Editions and features
Which Kiwi ORM features are free in the source-available edition and which are commercial (Enterprise).
Kiwi ORM has two tiers:
- Free: the source-available edition. It contains the core foundation and the Raw SQL and Entity access modes, with the tooling around them.
- Commercial: the Enterprise edition. It adds Repository mode, Managed CTEs, ready-made audit adapters and the compliance and access-governance controls. It is available for qualifying organisations.

Note
Repository mode, Managed CTEs, the ready-made audit adapters and audit trail, and access policies are Commercial. [Sensitive] redaction is applied by Core, so it works in the free edition too. The auditing hooks are part of the free Core: you can write your own audit code against them. The schema tooling carries no Enterprise label in Kiwify Labs' website or brochure and is therefore listed as free here. Confirm the exact entitlement of your licence with Kiwify Labs.
How the tiers show up in these docs#
Pages about Commercial features start with a Commercial feature notice, and pages about free features start with an Included in the free edition note. Where a page mixes both, each section says which it is.
